Synopsis: 

This movie is about a famous boxer called Billy Hope (Jake Gyllenhaal played), he wins the glory of champion for himself by using cold savage punches. His wife Maureen ( Rachel McAdams ornaments)was shot during a shooting accident. After his wife pass away, Billy started to drug abuse, despair, alcoholism, result of this, he lost custody of his daughter and she be sent to welfare institutions. Then, he clear his mind and  return to the boxing community in Natick coach ( Forest Whitaker decorated) with the help of his daughter in order to restore the respect and love, and the hope of his career.

Review: 

At the first i saw this movie because it is about boxing, and I did not read through the movie synopsis. I was be deeply attracted by the story which is really touching my heart as the movie running. It is sufficient to show the audience that a person's life from the top down to the bottom,  and rise again to the top with his hardships. There are several things i have noted from this movie. when a person's career being top that everyone will coming to him. but if he cannot control himself, he will going to lose some. it is like billy's wife get killed cause by his bad temperament. Moreover, if you give up yourself, it cause everyone and everything to leave you. In the movie, billy started to drug abuse, despair, alcoholism after his wife pass away. His daughter has be taken away from him, his wealth are also gone, and his partner find some else to working with.   In addition, if you want to earn your respect, love and career back, you must be giving everything you can do step by step to get all those back. However, it is a unexceptionable movie to watch which give people positive energy.
