Review:

I have watched Transformers every since the first one came out. As I am a big fantasy/super power lover, transformers was one of my all time favourites. The first, second and third series had the sam protagonist, and the continuation of the story fitted in, and the following films were its future. I was a little disappointed with this one, being the fourth of the series, I expected it to be a lot better, since I really loved the previous ones. The main characters all changed, so I couldn't really follow on at first. Having the main film set in Hong Kong made me relate it as my family is from there. I don't know , but with any Western film set in China or Hong Kong made me feel like home, or just this click saying 'hey I'm from there, I can related, etc'. The plot of this series was a little confusing at first, because it is set a few years later and the characters did change, but other than that, overall I really did enjoy this movie. The effects or the powers that were used and the transitions of scene were superb, well in my eyes, I'm not an expert but I enjoy viewing them. How they related and brought in ancient aspects to it were interesting, and so I did enjoy, despite having the plot not going in a smooth sequence. This is totally unrelated but towards the end of the film, which is still set in Hong Kong, there was a short scene shown   where this Chinese was in a convertible but then got exploded through, I was thinking to my self "they that person looked really familiar, I have definitely seen him somewhere before", so I went to do a little research and finally figured out that he was an ex-member of a Korean Idol Group, "Super Junior". Anyways, back to the topic, I would say this is a movie that is recommended for people who love the transformer series, if you haven't seen the previous one you MUST WATCH. It can also be recommended to those who love great graphics effects in movie, fantasy and anything involving supernatural being and powers.
