Review:
I chose to review this movie because it’s a movie that I grew up with (loved it back then and still do). True to its’ genre, this movie is suitable for all ages and is enjoyable to watch with a hint of comedy here and there. The most relevant aspect of this movie to me, was the way it portrayed the determination of the twins to reunite their parents and thus family again. I feel that, this is something everyday children/sibling go through, and thus the message becomes powerful. Throughout the movie, the comedy aspect of it comes into play when the girls plan several mischievous strategies in order to prevent Hallie’s father from marrying another woman.
My favourite scene of the movie would have to be when the twins discover that they are identical twins by matching up two torn halves of a photo. I was and still am today, still amazed at how great Lindsay Lohan was for being able to perform a dual role, along with the undisturbed visual quality (when considering how difficult it must have been to assemble this movie with each take due to the dual role).

In conclusion, as with any other family and children’s movie – Annie and Hallie successfully reunited their parents and thus achieved their happy ending.
